9:07 pm	Fun from Davlin Ten things that start with the letter B, and what they mean to me. 1. Bluebonnet - State flower, beautiful to see in a huge collection. 2. Beans - good replacement for meat 3. Blueberries - Favorite type of muffin/bagel 4. Basement - Never had one. 5. Boehm - rarely have someone get the pronunciation right the first time. 6. Balloons - fun to pop 7. Brakes - Could never drive without them. 8. Blimp - Hindenberg disaster...stupid hydrogen 9. Brother - haven't talked to him in over 2 years 10. Brownies - I want some now! That was kinda fun. 7:59 pm	I received notice about a full time job offer at work today. If there was ever a time to say "Holy Shit", this would indeed be the time. I accepted of course, I'm not an idiot. Right now I'm waiting for the official job offer letter, which I should have by the end of this week and formally accepted so I can go ahead and announce everything. I'm not going to post how much it is or anything like that, because friends of mine are trying to find jobs and I don't want them to get discouraged if they don't get theirs by thinking "Even he got a job, why can't I?" Good luck at the interview, Davlin, we really need to find some time to get together for a short bit sometime soon. (Comment on this)

1:07 pm	Working elsewhere Well, I put in my two weeks notice a couple days ago. My last day is around the 24th. I've worked at my job for almost 6 months, but I'm kinda glad to be leaving. A week ago or so I interviewed at J.P.Morgan Chase for a software testing internship. They called me back and offered me the job. After hearing about what they were offering, I would have been the biggest idiot in the world not to accept it. I'm locked at 19 hours a week max (honestly...they're going to kick me out when I hit 19), and I'll be getting paid over 3 times what I'm getting paid now. True, it's in Dallas...but that's practically a non-issue for me. (1 Comment |Comment on this)

7:57 am	Man, working until 1am is boring as hell. On Sunday I had to, and I came up with a really detailed setup for a video game in just that amount of time. 9:47 am	Basics Mainly this page is so I'm allowed to see a LiveJournal or two, I've had a Xanga page for a while. You can see it here: http://www.xanga.com/Vahkris/ Mainly it's a collection of thoughts, and usually does not have a section for any comments (unless I forget to disable it).
